Our Core Principles

Eco-Conscious Partnerships

We partner exclusively with suppliers demonstrating strong environmental commitment and responsible tourism policies.

Supporting Local Economies

We prioritize locally owned and operated accommodations, ensuring economic benefits remain within the communities we visit.

Empowering Local Talent

Our guides and drivers are recruited directly from local populations, bringing authentic perspectives and benefiting their communities.

Responsible Guiding Practices

All our guides are fluent in English and adhere strictly to eco-friendly practices, including no littering.

We proudly support UCF, a leading organization protecting Uganda's wildlife and natural resources. UCF's vital projects include the Elephant Trench in Ishasha (safeguarding human-wildlife coexistence), Park Recovery, and Anti-Poaching Initiatives in Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls National Parks. Thanks to their efforts, wildlife populations are stabilizing, habitat destruction is decreasing, local communities benefit, and the Uganda Wildlife Authority receives invaluable support.

Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH)
We partner with Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH), founded by pioneering veterinarian Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka. She is dedicated to conserving Uganda's mountain gorillas through innovative public health initiatives. CTPH develops community-based health programs, provides veterinary care to gorillas, conducts research on disease transmission, and educates communities on gorilla conservation.
Uganda Carnivore Project (UCP)
Join the Uganda Carnivore Project (UCP) for an exhilarating morning tracking lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park's (QENP) Kasenyi plains. UCP is dedicated to researching and conserving Uganda's large carnivores (lions, leopards, hyenas), collaborating with Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and Makerere University. This unique experience offers up-close views and contributes to groundbreaking conservation research and community initiatives reducing human-wildlife conflict.
Ride for a Woman (RFW)
We proudly support Ride for a Woman (RFW), a community-based organization in Bwindi empowering women through sustainable tourism, skills development, and income-generating activities. Your participation in activities like cycling tours, craft making, and community visits promotes cultural exchange and directly contributes to improving women's livelihoods.
The Batwa Trail
Experience a first-hand introduction to the unique culture of the Batwa pygmies, a forest people displaced from their ancestral rainforest. Hike with Batwa guides, learn about their ancient way of life, hear legends, and discover medicinal plants. Revenue generated from the Batwa Trail directly benefits the Batwa community, strengthening their cultural heritage.
Agatha's Community Project
In Ishasha, immerse yourself in Agatha's Community Project, witnessing the resilience of local communities striving to overcome poverty. Learn about community-driven initiatives, engage with residents, share stories, and participate in traditional activities like preparing a millet pap/porridge. Your participation provides economic benefits, encourages empowerment, and deepens your understanding of rural Ugandan life.
Single Mothers Empowerment (SME)
We support SME, a Non-Governmental Organization in Entebbe, Uganda, dedicated to working with vulnerable single young mothers aged 12-24 years and their children, providing crucial support and opportunities.
